Construction Project Resumes on Interstate 90 Between Presho and Reliance

Work has resumed on a multi-year Interstate 90 project between Presho and Reliance in both the eastbound and westbound lanes.
S.D. Highway 25 Closure Planned North of DeSmet

On Thursday, April 13, 2023, S.D. Highway 25 will be closing for the planned construction from just north of De Smet to the south S.D. Highway 28 junction.
Transportation Alternatives (TA) Program Funding Awards Announced

The South Dakota Transportation Commission (Commission) awarded $8 million in grants in 17 South Dakota communities, counties, and tribes as part of the South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) Transportation Alternatives program (TA).
Signals at Crazy Horse Memorial and Oreville Junction to Be Activated in Custer

Traffic signals at Crazy Horse Memorial and U.S. Highway 16/S.D. Highway 244 at Oreville Junction, will once again for be activated for the summer tourist season beginning Monday, May 1, 2023.
Closure Scheduled for S.D. Highway 19 Near Humboldt
April 11, 2023
Work is scheduled to begin on Interstate 90 at Humboldt (exit 379) on Thursday, April 13, 2023. The contractor will begin tearing down the Interstate bridge over S.D. Highway 19.
