Public Input Sought for Dell Rapids Master Transportation Plan Study

DELL RAPIDS, S.D. - The South Dakota Department of Transportation, in collaboration with the City of Dell Rapids, will hold a public open house as part of the Dell Rapids Master Transportation Plan. This open house public meeting will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019, at the Dell Rapids Middle School (1216 Garfield Avenue). 

The Dell Rapids Master Transportation Plan study will address a full range of transportation options and issues, including pedestrian, bicycle, transit, freight, and automobile. The purpose for the open house is to inform the public of the study’s recommendations and to record any concerns the public may have on those recommendations. 

For those who cannot attend the meeting or would like additional details on the study, information will be made available online after the meeting at www.cityofdellrapids.org. 

The meeting will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the location indicated. The open house will provide opportunity for discussion with SDDOT, city, and consultant staff. The opportunity to present written comments will be provided. Written comments will be accepted until Dec. 17, 2019. 

Notice is further given to individuals with disabilities that this open house/public meeting is being held in a physically accessible place.
