June 20, 2025:
Work Completed: May 15 – June 15, 2025
During this period, unclassified excavation continued on the south end of the project to balance earthwork. Excavation also resumed north of the White River Bridge for similar earthwork balancing.
The contractor began cold milling and full-depth reclamation north of the White River Bridge. Crews also started removing the old base course and performing undercutting operations in that same area.
Installation of reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) continued on the north side of the project. Work was completed in areas that were most accessible to the contractor, with some sections temporarily bypassed. Fence removal and the installation of temporary fencing were completed across the project area.
Waterline pipe installation progressed throughout the job site. In addition, the contractor completed the installation of the new box culvert and removed the temporary diversion from the roadway.
Planned Work: June 15 – July 15, 2025
In the upcoming month, the contractor plans to continue unclassified excavation both north and south of the White River Bridge. Cold milling of asphalt will also continue on the north side of the bridge.
Crews will move forward with removing the old base course and undercutting operations in that area. Work will begin on setting the new base course and grading the roadway north of the bridge.
The contractor is also planning to complete asphalt paving at the bridge ends and at the transition on the south end of the project. Waterline installation is expected to be finalized during this timeframe, followed by waterline tie-ins, which will require a temporary water service shutdown in the area.
