This project includes bridge rehab work on multiple bridges, the bridges included in the project are: 
- Big Sioux River Bridge
- BNSF Railroad Bridge
- Bridge over Interstate 229 (26th Street). Including an epoxy deck seal.

July 18, 2025:

June 15, 2025 – July 15, 2025, Completed Work: Completed bridge deck delamination repairs in the westbound lanes and two coat bridge deck polymer chip seal in the eastbound lanes of the 26th street bridge over Interstate 229 

Anticipated work in July 15, 2025 – Aug. 15, 2025: Complete the two coat bridge deck polymer chip seal on the Interstate 229 Southbound bridge over Southeastern Avenue.

July 10, 2025: 

On Thursday, July 10, 2025, the Interstate 229 exit 78 (26th Street) southbound off-ramp will be temporarily closing from 2 p.m. through 4 p.m. in Sioux Falls.

The temporary off-ramp closure is needed to allow for a traffic switch from the westernmost southbound lanes of I-229 to the easternmost lanes. Once the traffic switch has been completed, traffic to the off-ramp will be restored.
