Project Summary:
S.D. Highway 44:
This project consists of a full-depth reclamation with asphalt surfacing and to modify the intersection with additional lighting at the S.D. Highway 63 Junction. The project also includes bridge repair and rehab.
S.D. Highway 63:
This project consists of gravel surfacing and bridge rehab and repair.

Project Updates:
Dec. 20, 2024:
Nov. 15, 2024 – Dec. 15, 2024, Completed Work: The contractor completed the permanent seeding, mulching, and fertilizing for the project. Delineator installation is also complete. The contractor also completed the placement of 50 percent of the base course, salvaged on Highway 63.
Anticipated work Dec. 15, 2024 – Jan. 15, 2025: The project is now suspended for the winter. Base course, salvaged placement will be completed in the spring of 2025.
