The South Dakota Transportation Commission awarded 35 preliminary engineering Bridge Improvement Grants (BIG) totaling approximately $1.8 million at the commission meeting held in Pierre today, Thursday, Aug. 29, 2024.

Beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2024, overnight lane closures will be in effect on Interstate 29 and 12th Street in Sioux Falls. Additional nighttime closures are scheduled for this same location beginning Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2024
