2024 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally Vehicle Count – Through Day Six

The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) will provide daily traffic counts at nine locations for vehicles entering Sturgis for the 84th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally which runs from Aug. 2-11, 2024.

Chip Seal and Fog Seal Project Scheduled to Begin on U.S. Highway 83 in Campbell County

Beginning Thursday, Aug. 8, 2024, crews will begin a chip seal project on U.S. Highway 83. The project will run from the junction with S.D. Highway 10, south of Herreid, to the North Dakota state line.

Beginning Monday, Aug. 12, 2024, the Interstate 229 northbound off-ramp at Benson Road in Sioux Falls will be closed for the installation of utilities, grading, and concrete surfacing.

Starting Monday, Aug. 12, 2024, the Interstate 229 northbound off-ramp (exit 4) at Cliff Avenue will be closed.
