Starting Monday, March 11, 2024, the South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) will begin reconstruction work on Benson Road and the Interstate 229 interchange.

On Monday, March 18, 2024, bridge work is scheduled to begin on Interstate 29 at exit 18 near Elk Point.

On Monday, March 11, 2024, bridge work is scheduled to begin on the 300th Street bridge overpass on Interstate 29 two miles south of Beresford.
Lane Closures Planned on Interstate 90 near Brandon
March 01, 2024
Starting Monday, March 4, 2024, westbound and eastbound lane closures are planned on Interstate 90 near Brandon, exit 406. Lane closures, which will be placed as road conditions allow, are scheduled to be in effect from Monday, March 4, 2024, through Friday, March 22, 2024.
Bridge Improvement Grant (BIG) Recipients Announced by Transportation Commission (1)

The South Dakota Transportation Commission awarded 24 preservation, rehabilitation, and replacement Bridge Improvement Grants (BIG) totaling approximately $20 million at the recent commission meeting held in Pierre.
