Temporary Closure Scheduled for Cliff Avenue at Interstate 229 in Sioux Falls
January 06, 2026
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – On Friday, Jan. 9, 2026, South Cliff Avenue at Interstate 229 will be temporarily closed beginning at 9:30 a.m. as contractors remove a temporary bridge over Cliff Avenue. Weather permitting, the work is expected to be completed in one hour. During the closure, drivers should use exits 3 (Minnesota Avenue) and 5 (East 26th Street) as detour routes.

Overnight Lane Closures Planned on Interstate 90 at Hartford - Exit 387

Beginning at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2025, through 6 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025, the eastbound lanes of Interstate 90 at exit 387 (Hartford) will be temporarily closed to allow crews to set bridge girders over the eastbound lanes.
Euclid Avenue Reopening to Through Traffic in Pierre
